End Inspection System in production

Computrol has developed a new low cost vision system for inspecting the compound application of can ends.

Using Cognex/DVT camera systems, ends can be inspected for proper compound application at speeds up to 2250 EPM.

The system can be integrated into the liner controls to track which station processed each rejected end.

Images of rejected ends can be called up for operator review.

The base package comes with the inspection camera / lighting stand and air reject mechanism.

Options include upgrading the operator interface, tying in directly to the liner control system for improved tracking and data collection improvements.
